“The Woman’s Touch” Ministry is a team of ladies who volunteer our energy and time to assist people who are temporarily immobile. We want to ease some of the worries on your mind as you recover from surgery, illness, etc. and are unable to perform some basic tasks around the house.
This temporary service can assist those with:
- Temporary disabilities
- Broken limbs
- Surgery
- Temporary Illness (non-contagious please!)
- No assistance at home
Example of things we can do:
- Warm food from refrigerator at lunchtime
- Portion food (that may have come from Helping Hands) for easier warm up later
- Wash dishes
- Quick dust/vacuum
- Wash/hang up clothes
- Quick clean restrooms and floors
- Empty trash
- Move needed items for easy access
- May run small errands close to home
Example of things we do not do
- Handle/move the disabled person
- Handle/apply/distribute medication
Just let us know:
- If you have allergies or health problems with any household cleaning items
- What we should not do
- What your needs are
- Can we pick up (reimbursable) groceries for you?
