SeaCoast Grace Church Women’s Small Groups offer a wide range of Bible studies to serve the spiritual needs and varied schedules of the women in our community. If you have a desire to grow spiritually, our studies have been created just for you!
SCG Women’s Small Groups commit to providing quality topical studies, support and encouragement within a welcoming learning environment. Our goals for all participants center on knowing God through the study of His Word, and range from initiating a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, to fostering and celebrating the growth of that relationship. The group studies will focus on connecting women with a caring faith community through compassionate leadership, guidelines that promote security and accountability, and encouragement to seek further opportunities for support, growth and contribution through additional church programs and service activities. Please read through the descriptions of the studies to help you discern the content that will be most beneficial to you at this time in your faith journey.
The study workbooks will be distributed at your first class session. In addition to bringing these workbooks to your class sessions, you will want to bring a study Bible as opposed to a standard Bible. Study Bibles include explanatory summaries introducing each book of the Bible, study notes, cross references, maps, a concordance, a topical index and other supporting material. Choosing your study Bible is a personal decision, and many translations are available including the New International Version (NIV), New Living Translation (NLT), New King James Version (New KJV), and New American Standard Bible (NASB).
You will want to choose a translation which will enhance your ability to understand and reflect on Scripture, as this is an integral part of the Bible study experience and will greatly influence your spiritual growth.
