This summer, SeaCoast Grace Church of Seal Beach is rolling out the fun, with 8 Great Summer Dates, designed to bring those in our community together for free, fun and family friendly events. Each week during the months of July and August, we will get together somewhere in the community to meet, eat and enjoy all that life in Orange County offers. All events are free, unless otherwise noted, and usually offer a light dinner alternative to eating at home.
Based off the reality show, participants will be placed together for a fun team adventure traveling around Seal Beach looking for clues in order to bring them to their final destination. There will be exciting challenges and a few surprises along the way. Then we’ll round out the evening with a BBQ at the Seal Beach Campus. The race is on!
Spend the evening kicking back enjoying the movie, UP! We’ll provide an open snack bar, complete with popcorn, sodas and a build your own ice-cream sundae fountain. Bring your own beach chair or blanket to set up in the Auditorium of the Seal Beach Campus.
It’s going to be a fiesta of fun as we serve up tacos and enjoy the funny and inspirational talent of SCG. If you have a special talent you would like to share, please email us for more details.
Chili cooks have one thing in common: They all think their recipe is the best. And while we can sit around and debate the fundamentals of our recipes forever, there's really only one way to settle the score: an old-fashioned cook-off! And to carry out the competitive spirit of the night, we’ll have loads of family games and a few Wii consoles set up for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Charles Lee and our amazing SCG worship team will cap off our Eight Great Summer Dates with an evening of musical response to celebrate God’s love and faithfulness in our lives. Childcare will be provided for a nominal fee.
