When we envision the impact our church can have in our community and the world, the answer is a great, big "Yes!" We've grown by more than 50% in the past 3 1/2 years, and we're already far past the "maximum capacity" of the church. Nobody wants to have to tell the neighbors and friends who need to hear the good news that there's no room for them at church. Besides, "scooching to the center aisle" can only get us so far.

Based on professional input from architects and consultants, the total cost is expected to be approximately $10 million for the auditorium and $20 million for the entire project.

The exact date has yet to be determined, but we'll probably begin as soon as the stewardship campaign is over.

We believe resources in our midst can meet the need without an undue financial burden for the future. We are seeking commitments over and above normal yearly giving in
More Seats, More Stories campaign so that our current ministries can continue with their budgets unaffected. When God has led us to open our hearts -- and our wallets -- to make a difference in the name of Jesus, we've achieved some pretty amazing results. We’ve given over $1.5 million in the past two years to missions efforts around the world, supporting children, providing clean water, building homes, and sending teams to meet the physical and spiritual needs of hundreds of people in Uganda, El Salvador and Mexico.

"Not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice." It's a saying that describes our understanding of stewardship. The phrase restates the Biblical principle of proportionate giving. So while not everyone has the resources to offer up a small fortune, every person can make a prayerful, sacrificial gift -- and each of these is significant in God's eyes. With this in mind, we'll be encouraging an equal sense of commitment and sacrifice throughout the church, with each person prayerfully determining what he or she can give to the campaign.

SeaCoast Grace will continue to be a place that has something for everyone. We will still have a wide array of venues and programs to meet your needs whether your style is traditional, contemporary or somewhere in-between. Jesus Christ ministered to multiple groups in multiple way, and so will we.
